On the afternoon of July 3, the Investment Registration Certificates Granting Ceremony for two projects of Foxconn Singapore PTE Ltd., (Foxconn Corporation) was held at the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee. One of these projects is a manufacturing factory at Amata City Ha Long Industrial Park (Song Khoai Industrial Park), with a total land use area of 21.5 hectares, valued 263.7 million USD. Representing Amata City Ha Long, Mr. Nguyen Van Nhan – General Director and Ms. Le Ngoc Tram – Sales Manager attended the event.
Foxconn Corporation has been known as one of the leaders in the consumer electronics manufacturing sector, accounting for 40% of the global consumer electronics market share and ranked 20th among the Top 500 largest global corporations according to Fortune Magazine.
After two projects at Amata Ha Long with a total investment capital of 246 million USD, Foxconn has continued to choose the park for the third project. With this latest investment, total commitment of Foxconn to Amata City Ha Long reaches nearly USD 510 million and 49.3 hectares of land. These achievements solidify Amata Ha Long’s position as a leading destination for foreign direct investment (FDI) in Quang Ninh province.
To date, 19 projects with a total investment capital of 2.9 billion USD granted Investment Registration Certificates at Amata City Ha Long. These projects are in the processing and manufacturing sector, environmentally friendly, and in line with Amata Corp and Quang Ninh province orientation, with high turnover and significant contribution to the province’s economic growth.
With many investment advantages including attractive tax incentives, synchronous infrastructure, strategic location, and a favorable investment environment, Amata City Ha Long has been the fastest-investing and largest FDI industrial park (IP) in Quang Ninh province, as well as an attractive investment destination for enterprises looking for their ideal investment environment in Vietnam.
