Dear Valued Partners, Customers, and Relevant Agencies,
Under the influence of Typhoon Yagi, many provinces and cities in northern Vietnam have suffered severe damages and are still struggling to recover from the disaster. Amata in Thailand, along with all Amata-affiliated businesses in Vietnam, extend our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy to communities, businesses, and government agencies affected by this tragedy.
Quảng Ninh province was one of the first regions severely impacted by Typhoon Yagi, and Sông Khoai Industrial Park (Amata City Hạ Long) was not exemption to its destructive force. We have diligently worked to minimize the effect of typhoon, maintaining readiness throughout the storm and swiftly implementing recovery measures. With the invaluable support and cooperation of the authorities in Quảng Yên Town and Quảng Ninh Province, Amata City Hạ Long has made significant progress in recovering from the disaster, prioritizing the restoration of industrial park operations and fostering strong collaboration with all investors. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all agencies, customers, and partners who have stood by Amata during this challenging period.
Despite our recovery efforts, we have encountered misleading information and images circulating in the media regarding our industrial park. We want to clarify that images and information being shared do not accurately depict Song Khoai Industrial Park – Amata City Ha Long in Quang Yen Town, Quang Ninh Province. While we have actively engaged with relevant media outlets to rectify these inaccuracies, we acknowledge that false information may have already been circulated. Through this press release, we firmly assert that such information is incorrect, and Amata will take appropriate legal measures to safeguard our company’s brand image, reputation, and integrity.
Amata remains committed to collaborating with authorities and suppliers to expedite the restoration of industrial park operations as swiftly as possible to support our investors.
Sincerely!
