The year 2025 marks a significant step forward in the development of Amata City Ha Long. New Japanese projects commence construction and operations, promising significant economic benefits and job opportunities for the local community.

Fujix Electronic Vietnam factory

On February 21, 2025, the Inauguration Ceremony of the Fujix Electronic Vietnam factory officially took place under the witness of local leaders, management of Amata City Ha Long JSC, and representatives of enterprises within the Industrial Park. The factory, built on an area of 2.3 hectares, has a total investment of 24 million USD and specializes in manufacturing industrial products such as electric cables, rubber products (molded), aluminum products (molded), plastic products (molded), electric cables, insulating paper and components for industrial robots, inverters, Servo motors.

Just a few days later, on February 24, 2025, Yaskawa Vietnam Mechatronics System Co.,LTD held the Groundbreaking Ceremony for Yaskawa Vietnam Mechatronics System projects. The 6.35-hectare project with a total capital of 49.2 million USD will focus on the processing and assembly of printed circuit boards. When the factory comes to operation, It is expected to create 200 jobs for skilled workers.

On the morning of March 3, 2025, Parks Seiko Vietnam Co., Ltd. held the Inauguration Ceremony of the Parks Seiko Vietnam factory. This is the second Japanese factory to officially operate in Amata City Ha Long Industrial Park. Parks Seiko Vietnam project is built on 1-hectare land lot with a total capital of 10 million USD, specializing in cutting parts with integrated production technologies such as surface treatment, assembly, molding, die casting, primarily for export to markets across Asia.

It can be said that the coordination from AMATA City Ha Long, along with the support of the Quang Ninh provincial government, has created favorable conditions for the launching of Japanese projects in Vietnam.

These factories, once operational, are expected to contribute significantly to the region’s growth and socio-economic development by diversifying industrial output, boosting competitiveness, attracting further foreign direct investment (FDI), creating thousands of jobs and attracting highly-skilled workers to the Industrial Park.
