On April 25, 2025, Amata City Ha Long, in collaboration with the Quang Ninh Economic Zone Authority, organized a tenant meeting at Song Khoai Industrial Park (Amata City Ha Long). The conference aimed to promptly address concerns, proposals, and recommendations from secondary investors in the Industrial Park while strengthening cooperation and dialogue between enterprises and local authorities.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Aukkares Choochouy, Member of Amata Vietnam BOD, stated: “At Amata, we are committed to building a smart, sustainable, and dynamic ecosystem—a true ‘City of Sustainable Growth’—where businesses thrive, people prosper, and partnerships flourish. We work closely with local authorities and agencies to ensure maximum convenience for all investors, providing top-tier infrastructure, services, and support.”

Song Khoai Industrial Park – Amata City Ha Long, established in 2018 with a total area of 714 hectares. Over seven years of development, the IP has attracted 21 FDI projects with a total investment of nearly 3 billion USD .

Mr. Nguyen Van Nhan, General Director of Amata City Ha Long, stated that the Industrial Park (IP) has now completed and put into operation the 110kV Amata 1 substation with a capacity of 189MVA and the 110kV Amata 2 substation with a capacity of 126MVA.

Regarding the water supply system, Amata City Ha Long has upgraded and put into operation of Amata water treatment plant with a total capacity of 27,000m3/day and night. Along with the water supply system, the IP has also put into operation a centralized wastewater treatment plant with a total capacity of 16,000m3/day and night.

By 2025, Amata City Ha Long had constructed and completed internal roads in Phases 1 and 2, and a portion of Phases 3 and 4 of the project, totaling 9.6km in length. This year, the IP plans to continue investing in the Amata road expansion, aligning with the site handover schedule from local authorities, to complete the connecting route from the highway to Provincial Road 331.

Beyond infrastructure updates, the meeting facilitated discussions to resolve pressing enterprise challenges. Key topics included labor recruitment, worker shuttle buses, housing for experts/workers, licensing procedures, tax policies, and fire safety measures. Representatives from Amata, the Economic Zone Authority, Quang Yen Town, and provincial departments engaged directly to provide solutions.

Notably, at the conference, Amata City Ha Long and Viet Han College (Quang Ninh) signed an MOU to enhance workforce training cooperation for the Industrial Park.
