On 20 August 2026, Amata City Ha Long organized a Customer Meeting on VAT treatment of management fees for Export Processing Enterprises (EPEs) at Amata City Ha Long.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Omika Takeshi – Deputy General Director of Amata City Ha Long, with the participation of the Finance & Accountant and Relationship Management Teams and leaders and representatives from 13 EPE customers in the industrial park.
During the meeting, Mr. Omika Takeshi and Mr. Tran Ngoc Trung, Chief Accountant of Amata City Ha Long, exchanged with EPE customers on the current VAT treatment of management fees and discussed questions and concerns arising from its practical application.
Customers shared their views and concerns regarding the current VAT treatment, including differences in interpretation, practical challenges, and potential impacts on their business operations.
