The results of this evaluation program have been announced during the ceremony for Sustainable Companies in Vietnam 2023, organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD), under management of Central Government, Ministry of Labors, Invalids and Social Affairs, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, on 13th December 2023, in Hanoi.
The CSI 2023 program, consisting of 130 indicators, including 82 fundamental indicators related to legal compliance and 48 advanced indicators focusing on building a healthy business ecosystem, aims to ensure long-term, sustainable benefits for partners and other stakeholders. AMATA City Bien Hoa JSC excelled in meeting these indicators and was honored as one of the Top 10 “Sustainable Businesses in Vietnam 2023 in the Trade and Services Sector” among the 500 companies that participated in the program.
With outstanding results in sustainable development and collaborative efforts with the business community to promote sustainability in Vietnam, 2023 marked a new milestone for AMATA on various fronts.
Regarding the environment, with the goal of greening the workspace and production areas of our industrial park, AMATA has consistently maintained and expanded its green initiatives through the Tree Planting Day program over the past 8 years. In 2023, AMATA planted 2,343 pine trees with the contribution and support of the local community and customers within the industrial park. Moreover, AMATA Industrial Park is one of the three industrial parks selected by the Ministry of Planning and Investment to pilot the eco-industrial park model in the 2020-2023 period, building an eco-industrial park model based on the global Eco-Industrial Parks Program sponsored by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
In terms of social responsibility, over the past 5 years, AMATA has organized multiple blood donation activities annually with the participants of employees inside the park, only in 2023, the community has donated more than 400 thousands cc of blood to support emergency and treatment needs for patients. Additionally, AMATA has sponsored up to 300 million VND through community support activities, such as providing gifts to families in difficult circumstances, supporting families of war invalids and martyrs, and donating computers to schools…
These results serve as inspiration and motivation for all employees to strive towards the goal of creating even greater benefits and value for the community, all stakeholders in the future, under the group philosophy.
