On 09/5, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) announced the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) and the Provincial Green Index (PGI) 2023. Quang Ninh continued to be the top province, retaining the first position in Viet Nam’s Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) for 7 consecutive years (from 2017-2023) and leading the PGI Index in 2023 with 26 points.
It is clear that in recent years, Quang Ninh province has been focusing on creating a favorable investment environment for enterprises, developing and completing a synchronous and modern infrastructure system, reforming the administrative system professionally and transparently, along with solutions to develop high-quality human resources and skilled labor.
In terms of investment capital recruitment, in 2023, Quang Ninh recruited 3.1 billion USD of FDI investment capital. Thanks to the proactive support from Quang Ninh province, Amata Ha Long has welcomed many multinational projects with the total investment capital of billion dollars. It can be seen that Quang Ninh’s IPs, with attractive tax incentives and favorable investment environment, have always been a notable investment destination for enterprises who want to expand their business in the Northern region of Vietnam.
