JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Operations (50%)

  • Operate the 110kV substation and SCADA system.
  • Inspect equipment and record operational parameters.
  • Handle electrical system incidents.
  • Perform shift duties as instructed by the Shift Leader and report all work activities during the shift.

2. Maintenance (50%)

  • Supervise substation maintenance activities: coordinate with contractors, implement safety measures such as power disconnection, isolation, and site handover. Restore power after maintenance.
  • Participate in scheduled maintenance, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance for the industrial park’s electrical system.
  • Incident maintenance: collaborate with supervisors, contractors, and customers to troubleshoot and restore power supply, analyze issues, and suggest improvements for a safer and more reliable power system. (24/7 on-call duty, ready to respond when required).
  • Improvement maintenance: research and propose equipment and operational improvements to enhance power supply reliability.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Shift Leader.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Graduate from at least an Intermediate-level electrical program, physically fit, and willing to work in 3 shifts (8 hours/shift).
  • Preference for local candidates (Quang Ninh, near Amata Industrial Park). 

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience in operating and maintaining 110kV Substations, including electrical equipment, control systems, measurement, and protection (Transformers, SCADA, Switchgear, Protection Relays, Firefighting systems, and AC/DC systems).
  • Strong understanding of EVN electrical safety regulations, national power system dispatch circulars, incident handling procedures, and related operational and maintenance regulations.
  • Possession of an A1 Substation Operation Certificate is an advantage.
