Amata City Long Thanh is one of Dong Nai’s most significant industrial projects, designed to meet the city’s growing demand for developing high-tech industries. Project Overview
The Long Thanh High-Tech Industrial Park project (Amata City Long Thanh) is planned with a total area of more than 410 hectares and is being implemented in four phases from 2022 to 2028, with a total investment capital of USD 282 million, reflecting the investor’s long-term commitment to accompanying Dong Nai’s industrial transformation. Phase 1, spanning 120 hectares, commenced construction in May 2022 and was completed in December 2025. The subsequent phases are set for completion at the end of 2026, 2027, and 2028. The project’s latest approved operational term extends to 2071, underscoring its long-term commitment to accompanying Dong Nai’s industrial transformation.
Infrastructure & Utilities
Infrastructure development has always been a priority to ensure readiness for investors. The main N7 road, internal routes S1 and S4–S7, together with the N3 ring road and parallel roads, have already been completed, with further expansion planned in the near future. Power is supplied by the industrial park’s 110kV substation with a total capacity of 189 MVA, of which Phase 1, providing 63 MVA, has been operational since late 2025. The Phase 1 water supply system has a capacity of 4,000 m³ per day and night, with a design capacity of 16,000 m³ per day and night. The wastewater treatment plant operates at 2,950–3,000 m³ per day and night, designed for up to 12,000 m³ per day and night, meeting environmental standards. Broadband fiber-optic telecommunications have been completed for Phase 1 and are continuing to expand. In addition, the project will integrate renewable energy through a 120 kWp solar power system, contributing to Dong Nai’s sustainable development goals.
Land Compensation & Development
Land clearance and development are progressing in line with provincial regulations. To date, 353.8 hectares have been cleared, with an additional 56.5 hectares planned. Of this, 188.5 hectares have received land lease decisions, and 156.8 hectares have been granted land use rights certificates.
Key Results
Investor confidence in Amata City Long Thanh is clearly reflected in its investment results. To date, the project has attracted more than 15 clients with a combined investment capital exceeding USD 500 million. Investors come from countries including China, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, operating across sectors such as electronics, household appliances, warehousing and services, pharmaceuticals, food production, etc.
Beyond the existing tenants, the project has also attracted interest from many potential investors exploring opportunities in fields such as data centers, electronics, and precision engineering. This growing pipeline underscores Amata City Long Thanh’s reputation as a trusted destination for high‑tech industries and highlights the park’s expanding appeal to both domestic and international investors.
Achievements and Future Plans
Achievements to date include the near completion of Phase 1 infrastructure, strong inflows of foreign direct investment, and operational readiness for tenants.
