JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Scope of work: Responsible for wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) operation and sewage collection network in IP; Control WW quality and make report.
  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Arrange working shifts for workers.
    • Monitoring and operation the water treatment plant to ensure discharge treated wastewater be complied to the laws and regulations.
    • Monitor and control the specification of WW quality from factories.
    • Plan and perform the preventive and corrective maintenance of the equipment in the WWTP and lift stations.
    • Schedule and perform the maintain and calibration for monitoring and analysis instruments.
    • Work with suppliers and propose to Line Manager’s approval for supplying chemicals, materials, and services to ensure normal and continuous operation.
    • Coordinate with Authorities on all the wastewater and some environment issues and report to Dept. Manager.
    • Guide and consult clients for wastewater connection.
    • Monthly reports about WW quality, sludge amount, chemical use, monitoring data.
    • Take care of safety on WWTP site.
    • Other assignment from Line Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor degree of Biology, chemistry, water, environment.
  • 2 years experience on operating water or WWTP.
  • Able to do wastewater quality analysis and strong knowledge on activated sludge, understand environmental law and regulation.
  • Experiences in commissioning and start-up water or WWTP are an advantage.
  • English communication, can read and understand equipment manual.
  • Computer skills (MS Office, CAD is preferring).
  • Technical mind on wastewater treatment and analysis.
  • Problem-solving skill, team management skill…
  • Prefer candidates living in Long Thanh or Bien Hoa.
