On May 16th, Amata VN was honored to participate in the Vietnam – Thailand Business Forum themed “One Plus One on Three Connects.” This significant event was presided over by Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra, with the attendance of leaders from Government Authorities and business representatives from both countries.

In her opening speech, Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc highlighted Thailand’s role in developing exemplary eco-industrial park models, emphasizing that Amata Group’s industrial parks are typical examples.
Over 30 years developing in Vietnam, Amata currently maintains its role as a leading real estate developer, making significant contributions to the economy with a total of 3,000 hectares of industrial land, a total investment of 860 million US dollars, and creating thousands of jobs for local workers.

During the discussion session with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Ms. Somhatai Panichewa, CEO of Amata VN, reported on the company’s investment attraction results amidst a challenging global economic climate marked by external influences. Despite these difficulties, Amata committed to expanding investments in Dong Nai and Quang Ninh, and exploring potential projects in Phu Tho and other provinces.

The Prime Minister acknowledged Amata’s contributions and offered positive encouragement, while also sharing updates on Vietnam’s reform progress and projected development goals following the completion of administrative and local government reforms this year.

Ms. Somhatai Panichewa also participated as a speaker in the panel discussion, contributing ideas and solutions for leveraging inter-regional strengths to elevate the regional economy.
